Navajo Sterling Silver Larimar Ring (Size 6 1/2)
Navajo silversmith, Thomas Francisco of New Mexico, hand cut the beautiful sterling silver frame surrounding the bezel set Larimar stone. Francisco is known for his attention to detail and clean work. The sterling silver split shank band is very comfortable to wear. Larimar is a rare stone mined only in the Dominican Republic where it was thought to be from the Lost City of Atlantis. It actually comes from a volcanic deposit on the island. The discoverer of this stone named it for his daughter, Larissa, and mar meaning sea in Spanish. The soft blue color looks like the waters of the Caribbean Sea. Hallmarked with Thomas Francisco and an arrow pointing right. Stamped “Sterling”.
