Small Gaspeite Squash Blossom Necklace with Earrings

This authentic Navajo Squash Blossom Necklace is the perfect size. It’s much smaller and lighter than a full size Squash Blossom Necklace and has plenty of sterling silver chain to adjust the length. Each free form piece of apple green Gaspeite from Australia is bezel set and ends in a handmade sterling silver “blossom”. The bottom horseshoe shaped piece is called a Naja and is a good luck symbol borrowed from the Moors’ culture of Spain. Gaspeite is a rare stone found only in Quebec and Australia. The supply of Gaspeite is dwindling as all Gaspeite mines are closed. Matching earrings are included. Handmade by Navajo silversmith, Ted Secatero in New Mexico. Hallmarked “TS” and stamped “Sterling”.
