Navajo Sandcast Sterling Silver Bracelet

The graceful curves of this elegant Sandcast Native American cuff bracelet are evocative of the historic American Southwest. Navajo Artist, Harrison Bitsui, was born into a silversmithing family and began making his first pieces at the age of 7. Taught by his grandfather, Charlie Bitsui, Harrison continues to use his grandfather’s designs today. Sandcasting is a labor intensive process that involves many steps. Navajo Artists, like Harrison Bitsui, have been creating these old world Spanish style pieces using the same process since the mid 1800’s. This sandcast sterling silver bracelet is signed “H.Bit’s”, and stamped “Sterling”.
